Webhook manager

Paste a webhook URL to see where it posts. You can rename the webhook, give it a new image, send a test message, or delete it if the URL fell into the wrong hands.

Asks Discord directly – never via our server

A webhook URL is like a password

Anyone who knows the URL can post to your channel – no login needed. Never share it publicly. If it leaked (e.g. in a GitHub repo or screenshot), delete the webhook here and create a new one in Discord.

Kept only in this tab's memory – not stored, not in the address bar, not sent to us.
Where do I find the URL?
  1. Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks (or Edit Channel → Integrations).
  2. Click the webhook → “Copy Webhook URL”.

All requests go straight from your browser to Discord. The URL only ever leaves your device towards discord.com.

How it works

  1. Copy the URL in Discord: Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → pick the webhook → “Copy Webhook URL”.
  2. Paste it above and press “Inspect”. You'll see name, avatar, channel and server ID.
  3. Change the name or avatar and save – or send a short test message.
  4. If the URL leaked, delete the webhook. The URL becomes worthless immediately.

FAQ

What can someone do with my webhook URL?

Anyone with the URL can post messages to the channel without logging in, change the webhook's name and avatar, and even delete it. They can't read anything or see other channels. Treat the URL like a password.

My webhook URL leaked – what now?

Delete the webhook right away, here or in Discord under Integrations → Webhooks. The URL stops working after that. Create a new webhook and keep its URL somewhere safe, e.g. as a secret instead of in code.

Do you store my webhook URL?

No. The URL only lives in this tab's memory. It never goes into the address bar or browser storage, and every request goes straight from your browser to discord.com.

Why does it say “webhook doesn't exist”?

Discord answers 404 Unknown Webhook once a webhook is deleted. Stop using the URL then – Discord temporarily blocks IPs that send many invalid requests.

Why can't my webhook be called “Discord Bot”?

Discord forbids the words “clyde” and “discord” in webhook names, as well as the names “everyone” and “here”. 1 to 80 characters are allowed.
