Invisible character for Discord
To be honest: Discord does not document which characters are allowed and blocks some of them from time to time. The values below are community experience (October 2026). If one fails, try the next. None of them works in usernames (@name) – those only allow a–z, 0–9, _ and .

Hello world ! This is a test with hidden stuff. How it works
- Click “Copy invisible character”.
- In Discord open User Settings → Profiles and paste it as your display name.
- If Discord rejects it, try the next character in the table, e.g. U+2800.
- For empty messages or spacing use U+2800 and the repeat builder.
Bots like \u200b (zero width space) for empty embed field names or to show @everyone without a ping. The tool runs entirely in your browser – pasted text never leaves your device.
FAQ
How do I get an invisible name on Discord?
Copy the Hangul filler (U+3164) and use it as your display name or server nickname. Normal spaces don't work because Discord trims them, leaving the name empty.
Does it work for usernames?
No. Usernames (@name) only allow a–z, 0–9, underscore and period. Invisible characters only work in display names, server nicknames and messages.
Why doesn't the character work for me anymore?
Discord doesn't document which characters are allowed and blocks some from time to time – partly because blank names are used for spam and impersonation. The values in this tool are community experience (October 2026). Try the alternatives.
How do I send an empty message?
Copy U+2800 (braille blank) and send it on its own. For several blank lines set a count in the builder and enable “own line”.
How do I find hidden characters in text?
Paste it into “Find hidden characters”. The tool highlights zero-width characters, fillers, direction marks and hidden tag characters and gives you a cleaned copy.
